Those little vintage touches... (and how to achieve them!)

Posted by

The vintage trend is showing no signs of abating into the 2015 and even 2016 wedding seasons... and why would it? When it provides us with a wealth of romantic touches and quirky details that allow us to indulge our love for the bygone era, it truly is one of the most inspiring themes that allows your imagination to run wild but still keeps everything looking beautifully classic.

We are in the process of adding a brand new range of vintage embellishments and craft items to our website, and today we wanted to showcase one of our favourites: the incredibly versatile Vintage Alphabet Stamp Set, which we guarantee will make your DIY stationery-making life so much easier!

Perfect for place cards, name tags, and other decorative touches, this stamp set contains a full set of uppercase letters, a full set of lowercase letters, numbers 0-9 and even punctuation stamps.

The real practical benefit of the stamps is the ability to effortlessly make place settings, favour box labels, and tags for invitations and other stationery without trying to feed fiddly little bits of card into a printer or hand cutting card around printed text. Instead, you can just get a pre-cut tag (our Rectangular Kraft Tags or Round Kraft Tags are perfect) and simply stamp the letters onto it. Tie with satin ribbon, lace or hessian twine and there it is - a gorgeous place setting for barely more than 10p!

Ink stamped letters look achieve the vintage look so much better than printed stationery; and the love that's gone into each stamped name won't go unnoticed by your guests. Combine with hessian and lace and carry it throughout your venue decoration for something truly beautiful...

Products shown in the place setting example below: Hessian Napkin Wrap (coming soon), Rectangular Kraft Tag - 7p, 'Berlin' Vintage Lace White - £1.20/metre
