DIY Wedding Stationery - where do I start?

So you're embarking on the task of wedding planning? Firstly, congratulations! Secondly, good luck! Planning an event as important as your wedding is daunting, time consuming and often frustrating, but at the end of it all, is definitely worth it.

After booking your venue and finding your dress, your wedding stationery is one of the earliest things to think about in your planning. But it is one that people often find very difficult; you probably already have an idea of the hairstyle you want on your big day and have had a mental picture of your wedding dress for years, but did anyone really start picturing their dream wedding stationery when they were 9? We very much doubt it. It’s one of those things that you really don’t realise how important it is until you embark on ‘wedding planning’. Because after all it is what will tell your guests where they need to be, how to get there, and exactly who is invited. It directs guests to their seat, gives them the words to hymns, says thank you and gives them mementoes of the day to take away with them. As well as that, nice stationery always looks AMAZING in wedding photos!
